The Lutheran High School Summer camp program provides an opportunity for Lutheran High School Association students (both High School and elementary school), as well as other students in the community to grow and develop in specific co-curricular areas. In accordance with the mission statement of Lutheran High School, all summer camp experiences will encourage personal and spiritual nurturing while promoting skill development for a specific sport or activity.
In addition to personal development, students will be introduced to the Lutheran High School community and experience the quality of Lutheran High School programs. Finally, Lutheran High School team camps will provide an opportunity for team growth and unification.
For students of high school age, Missouri State High School Athletic Association requires students to be enrolled in the school for which they are attending summer camps.
Each Lutheran High School camp will meet the following objectives:
1. The Gospel of jesus Christ will be shared with each participant.
2. Positive sportsmanship/citizenship and healthy attitudes will be taught to each participant.
3. Individual and/or group (team) skills will be demonstrated to and practiced by each participant.
4. Drills and exercises to promote future skill development and proper conditioning will be shared with each participant.
Lutheran High Camps are conducted by experienced Lutheran High School coaches and teachers.
